Sarah Jane Brewster is a self taught artist working in Newcastle Upon Tyne. She specialises in paintings using acrylics and oils, and the subjects she paints are focused on people, animals and nature. 
“Art was an important tool for communicating from a young age as I was born deaf. I found painting to be a means of escape from the everyday hustle and bustle of the chaotic world we live in helping create a meditative and peaceful place. For me the process of painting is intimate, transcendent, beautiful and colourful. I would like anyone viewing my work to feel as enriched and happy as I do.”
