Sharon returned to the the North East after studying in Edinburgh and, as an artist and printmaker, she tries to capture the sense of place through relief prints in lino, wood, and engravings in perspex and plastic. Her work is very often based around local culture, heritage, environment and local community. Gardens to bridges. Or maybe sometimes a random armadillo.
